Well it was good while it lasted actually lost 11lbs, 7 pounds since I found this site. I could fit in my dress for my graduation Sunday 14 Oct. But I can see the pain in my face on some of the pictures. Having a Sarc flareup, liver enzymes elevated. Increased dosage of Pred so more fat. Oh well I am still in a upright position

this year was a group picture with all my brothers and sisters. it was the first picture that was taken of all of us in 25 years. the pain was on my face too. the rest of my family looked somewhat normal and my face was all screwed up on most of the shots. it is good you are exercising and trying loose weight. it is going to come off slowly so don't be discouraged. i think it's great you were able to fit into the dress you wanted to wear. i hope you felt good about that. you should have.0

How frustrating for you Rotorheadg!! All that hard work and then to find you are taking a back step  You must be pretty disappointed. I didn't know what your diagnosis was, so had a look on Wikkipeadia. It explained that Prednisalone is a corticosteroid and therefore puts weight on. I was on the same medication during chemo and it's the cause for me beginning the upward trend, with my weight too. I'm glad to be off them. They kept me awake at night and made me more fatigued in the day, made me eat like a starved horse and therefore rapidly put weight on me. Sorry your situation has deteriorated recently. I hope your health picks up again soon.
