Sorry to have to bring this up..
A bit of a random one but since low carbing I seem to be needing a wee all the time...I mean yes I am drinking water, lots of it too..
I have a bottle the size of for example a protein shake bottle and probably re fill that every couple of hours but I am literally going to the toilet at least 3 times a hour, surely this isn't normal?
Is this anything to do with low carb or am I just drinking lots of water or maybe I am getting a premature bladder problem ha ha

I go to the toilet all.of.the.time, but I drink a heap of water and I have a boring office job so time away from the computer is time well spent!!0

If you haven't been low-carbing for long then you will pee more as the body will shed water weight as it dumps stored glycogen.
Glycogen is how the liver and muscles store energy, it is stored with water molecules, hence the drop in water weight that all low-carbers get.
I guess this could keep going forever if you never get low enough in carbs to deplete the glycogen enough to enter a decent degree of ketosis.
And it all depends on how much (and what intensity) exercise you are doing as this will also affect your stores of glycogen.
I chug water all day so I'm fairly used to going regularly ... If it gets excessive then I'd see my Doc though as it could indicate other issues.0 -

Yeah I have recently stared low carbing again..Never really have this problem otherwise..
My main reason of concern is the amount of toilet paper I am going through :laugh:0
