Week 1 (10/22-10/28) mini goals

Hey everyone! Glad you could join me! I started this group because it's always been easier for me to stay motivated with short term goals, and having them add up in to something great instead of feeling overwhelmed and slowing down when looking at the big picture. I think it has to do with me feeling accomplished crossing things off a to-do list, haha! Also, I read somewhere that if you write down your goals, it greatly increases the chances that you will reach them by some insane amount. If you haven't yet, let us know what your overall goals are in the "30 Day Goals" thread started by staceypunk! I know I picked up some great ideas/inspiration in there by reading all of yours! :) Anywhoo, I'm going to break down my 30 day goals into 4, week long mini-goals.

This week I will:
1) lose 1.5 lbs (my 30 day goal is 6lbs...6/4 = 1.5)
2) Jog 3x this week (30 day goal is to jog 30mins/5k)
3) Stick to water and coffee, no soda/juice/beer (see #1)
4) Get ahold of some weights. (30 day goal is to be less of a weakling)

I feel confident that if I do these things, I will reach all of my 30 day goals. Write down your week 1 mini goals here. :)

    My week goals : stay away from sugar (failed today but will start up into it tomorrow, only good quality carbs!)


    Lose 2.5 lbs... I know it's a lot but I need to have lost some weight until the end of this year. I'll do it slowly after that and will do my maintain journey for a while to not put the weight back!

    Sleep at 23 pm because I wake up at 5.30 to do my workout!!!

    Great idea those mini goals!!!
    I will put me daily goals too!!! Thanks for sharing!!

    My goals for the week:

    1. Work out for an hour a day Monday - Saturday

    2. Lose 1lb

    3. Log everything, everyday.

    Ok. I dropped 1.5 since last week, and I commonly jump up and down so my mini goals for this week

    1. Maintain my loss
    2. Work on the C25k program. I actually started this Saturday. Because it is working new muscles I have actually cut down on my exercising time. Another reason for the goal of maintaining my weight loss.

    My mini goals for this week are to:
    1. Stick with my lifestyle change
    2. Weight train 2 days
    3. Shaun T's hip hop abs all week. This might be the toughest. Although, I can only improve. Today was rather discouraging.

    My weekly goals are to:

    1) drink 8 glasses of water a day (2 before work, 2 before lunch a work, 2 after lunch at work, 2 after work at home)
    2) Keep to my workout schedule!

    Drink at least 8 glasses of water/day
    Do not go over calories on MFP
    Workout 6 days a week. Tues and Wed at Gym

    my week 1 goals:

    1) drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, 1 as soon as i wake, 1 before bed, and 1 before each meal, others spread around
    2) work out at least 5 times a week, (walking 3 -5 miles)
    3) always stay within my daily calorie allowance
    4) Stay positive about this life style change
    5) lose 3lbs at the least.

    This looks like such a fun group!

    So my mini goals this week:
    1) Go to Fight Shape at least once, twice would be great
    2) Stay under my calories 5 of 7 days (realistic!)
    3) Try to go to bed by 11pm each night. :yawn:

    I think this is a fabulous idea. Should help make the process more manageable

    My weekly goals:

    1) lose 1.25 lbs
    2) When I go for my beach vacation this long weekend, to still keep within my macros
    3) Green tea/ water ONLY
    4) Continue to "PRESS PLAY" throughout my vacation.

    My goal for this week is to log what I eat every day, and to not have any days where I say "alright, today is off the record" and go crazy.

    I am trying all the different exercise classes at the gym. I did spin ( usual class) then tried legs, bums and tums. Not very aerobic I thought, not out of breath and could keep up pace although getting arms and legs going in the right direction at the right time was more difficult. Today I ACHE lots of slow squats really make muscles work and as for my abs!!!!!

    1.Exercise 6 days a week alternating between cardio and weight-lifting
    2.Eat within calorie range for one week
    3.Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
    4. Forget what the scale says, go by the way my clothes fit
