Anyone on here a new mom?

I'm a new Mommy and when I found out I was pregnant in December last year I was on week 6 of this program, so I know it works. My question is now that I've been unable to work out hard or run the past 10 months.. Is it safe to jump back into it 8 weeks after having a baby? My son is 2 months old today and so far I've tried walking and I even attempted the 30 day shred. Unfortunately the 30 day shred was a bust because I hurt my knee somehow doing the jump rope and jumping jacks. I really want to start this up again, but not if I'm going to make my knee worse. Anyone have advice or experience on this? Or are there any new moms like me trying to get fit with couch25k?
