How do you distribute your calories?

Just curious about what others do. I am finding myself with a shetload of calories at the end of the day. Like, right now, i still have to eat 1000, because i burned over 700 in exercise, and i'm like ok wow really. This happens often. Today i should have had a better breakfast but I was in a hurry to get out the door, but I had a decent lunch...

I guess i need to work on planning out when i'm going to eat ...

Do you plan calorie amounts per meal, or is anyone else in my situation...?

It's kinda hard because I feel like if I eat 1000 right now that's like too much, but at the same time i need to get the calories in because i'm not losing weight eating less...

i'm a mess lol

I am planning my meals ahead. The best thing is to pre-log your food in the morning. So you can see what you need to eat, if your macros are in check etc.
A usually do quite a big breakfast, that helps me a lot to get all my calories in. Overnight oats are a fantastic breakfast, mixed with some protein powder.

When I logged my food I pre-logged so I could see where I could eat more. I targeted to get 1700 calories before dinner, otherwise I couldn't reach my calorie goal. I also know that I can't eat more than ~500 calories in one sitting or I don't feel good. This means I eat a lot of snacks and I also try to get plenty of healthy fat/calorie dense foods.

I prelog my food and I prelog my evening exercise so I see exactly what I have left to eat and so I can get all of my macros in. If I don't prelog my evening spin classes then I usually do not eat all of my protein and I am struggling to eat protein at 9 at night.

I prelog everything the evening before so that i know what i need to pack for the next day.
Otherwise i come to work and then have to stress about going out to find all the food i need.
Really does help to be prepared and doesnt take that long. good luck
