Hi all, I'm up to the dreaded final four kilos and am finding it harder to stay motivated - after losing 8kilos since the start of August (five with MFP),
So, I would love to eat more and weigh less
I am 44 years old, 5'9" and 72 kilos (about 158 pounds), with a goal of 68 kilos (150 pounds)
According to Scooby's calorie calculator, my BMR is 1456 and my TDEE is 2257, set at "moderate exercise 3-5 hours a week". My exercise at the moment is a mix of walking (my usual route takes about 50 mins and includes some walking on sand, up steps and uphill) and curves 3-4 times a week (I know, I know, but it fits in with my lifestyle and I do work pretty hard on the weights, as in can't hold a conversation!). I also plan to lift dumbbells at home when I can (I have two four-kilo weights I have hardly ever used!)
So, my question - should I set my calorie goal to 15 percent TDEE, or with so little left to lose, am I better with 10 per cent and going slower?
At the moment, my MFP goal on the days I exercise is a little under 20 per cent of TDEE.
So glad to have found you!

Hello and Welcome to EM2WL!
Great, that you have found this group.
I would suggest to do a 10% cut, not bigger than that. You are close to gal weight, so the smaller the cut, the better. Also do not forget to keep diet breaks every 5-6 weeks. Just eat for one week at TDEE, to keep your metabolism up and going.
And get out those dumbbells and start lifting them, Your body will thank you You might discover quickly, that you will need heavier weights0 -
Thanks for your response.
My weigh-in day is Friday so a couple more days doing what I am doing, Then I will up the cals
Any other advice?0
