Weight accountability log - week 6

I pledged to weigh myself every Tuesday after exercise and to report the results to my fellow Challengers. Here's the data since the start of the Ultra Challenge:

Tuesday 9/11/2012: weight = 177.0 lb, need to lose 20.0 lb to reach goal
Tuesday 9/18/2012: weight = 174.2 lb, 2.8 lb lost since beginning of Ultra Challenge
Tuesday 9/25/2012: weight = 171.6 lb, 5.4 lb lost since beginning of Ultra Challenge
Monday 10/1/2012: weight = 168.0 lb, 9.0 lb lost since beginning of Ultra Challenge
Tuesday 10/9/2012: weight = 168.6 lb (brief setback due to my gimpy right foot)
Tuesday 10/16/2012: weight = 167.5 lb, 9.5 lb lost since beginning of Ultra Challenge
Monday 10/22/2012: weight = 166.9 lb, 10.1 lb lost since beginning of Ultra Challenge

I now have 9.9 pounds to go until I reach my target weight of 157 lb. To do this in the 7 remaining weeks of the Ultra Challenge (which are also the 7 remaining weeks of the 10-week Killer B challenge) I will need to lose an average of 1.4 lb/week. Time to go pedal to the metal!

    I'm heading to Hawaii today but wanted to report my weight update for the week:

    Wednesday 10/17: 142.8 lb (no loss from previous week)
    Wednesday 10/24: 142.6 lb (a ridiculous 0.2 lb loss)

    So essentially no change again this week. My KB scale weight did change: from 146.3 to 145.5 but that previous weight was a big jump up from the previous week (which had been 145.1) so this week's KB scale loss is probably not all that accurate. And the two week spread is a net gain...

    This week I stayed within my calorie intake limits and burned just over 4000 calories. I'm going to enjoy myself this week in Hawaii (within reason, of course) and deal with this frustrating plateau when I return. Maybe a change of pace will help.
