MUSCLE MILK? PROTEIN

I found a great website with tons of low carb recipies. But most of them (the shakes mainly) all use a protein powder, which i know make you gain weight.
i want to try these becuase i want something beneficial for me after my workout, i want to build muscle but not weight. I am also planning on using these as meal exchanges.

so the suggestions were ISOPURE or to just use benefiber. so any suggestions

the website is sinorslim.com if you want to check it out

What about protein powders make you gain weight? There are carb-free (after subtracting fiber) protein powders out there, and many protein powders are low-carb anyway. Protein powders themselves don't have a magical "weight gain" property.

Building muscle *is* gaining weight. You sound like you want to reduce your body fat while also building muscle. You want to reduce your inches around and increase your tone and strength?

Increasing strength can be done without building visible muscle. It can also be done on a caloric deficit. Actually building muscle is going to be really slow, especially for you as a female. Building muscle is incredibly difficult on a caloric deficit. Losing body fat percentage is easy, and can easily be done through diet alone, though lifting heavy things and taking part in cardio activities helps a lot.

So, really, the question is this: What do you want to do more of FIRST? Do you want to reduce your body fat percentage and your visible inches more (cutting)? Do you want to focus on lean muscle mass and body strength more (bulking)?
  • The weight gain from Protein is in the muscle.

I have protein powder every morning for breakfast and I lost 5 lbs last week. Plus if you work out and do strength training muscle mass will be gained and it will show up on the scale.

This is why its good to take measurements too, not just weigh yourself. :-)
