Garmin help

So the gazillionenth person i know who trains for marathons/halfs has finally convinced me I need to invest in a garmin. I know nothing. Help please :):flowerforyou:

    I have the Garmin Forerunner 405cx, and I love it. It's not too bulky, it's pretty accurate, and acquires satellites very fast. A lot of runners use the Garmin Forerunner 110, 210, 305, 405, 405cx, 410, or 610. What product you buy just depends on your needs, and your budget. I think the best time to buy a Garmin is around the holidays. Amazon and Heart Rate Monitors USA have a really good sale around Black Friday.

    I have the 410. I like that it breaks everything out into splits on the dashboard, I can see exactly where I was weak in a run, and work on maintaining a consistent pace, rather than speed up, slow down that I do too much.

    DH and I both have the 301 and like it. It's bulky, but the screen is big and we can see it easily. It has way more options than we will probably ever use, but who knows.

    i got a Garmin 410 from Costco. it does what i need it to do. $199 + free shipping. haven't found a better deal anywhere.

    Did you ever get anything? I started with a 305, then got a 405 and now have a 610, so I am a fan. If still looking, what would you like to know?

    Did you get he 410 or the 310? I can only find the 310 at Costco...

    I have the 410 and it's an awesome device. Their website w/ your own dashboard is most excellant for tracking activities. I only wish that I had purchased the 610. More options tracking Health.

    i had a 405cx. it was great until it died.

    I'ved now downgraded to the 210, and you know what I find it better. I never used all the features on the 405 anyway, so the 210 is perfect for me.
