Too poorly to run.... when can I start again??

I'm suffering because I've had a sore throat and now a cough for 10 days. Yes, I'm counting days because I haven't been able to run. I had just managed to complete the first run of week 8 where I ran for 28 minutes continuously. Since that end-of-term-itis has caught up with me!
But when I was out shopping today I was enjoying the (brief) sunshine and looking forward to running again. Has anyone else had time off then carried on running?
Its only been 10 days, but I was running every other day before. I struggled like mad with week 7 and had to repeat it twice, so I was really glad to finally get to week 8. I am wondering where and when I should start again. Does anyone have similar experience please?
At the moment I am thinking of getting out and about next week during the holidays and doing some walking, to see how my breathing goes.

I had to take exactly 10 days off from running while halfway thru c25k. I was real sick about a month ago. I started off by walking 1 day and then started right back at week 5. I stayed at week 5 for 2 weeks, and have not finished the program yet. But I ran/walked my first 5k today. Now I have a time to beat in my next 5k in 2 weeks. If I do it in 38 min I will be thrilled.0
