Staying on track on the weekends...I do great during the week when my day is structured but the weekends are tough with get togethers, going out to eat, etc. Thanksgiving will also be a challenge as it's one of my favorite holidays so I plan to do lots of working out before and after so I can indulge a little. Game on....goodbye 10 lbs!!!!

Uggh, me too! It's not so much the weekends in general as it is the activities that take place on the weekends! It's bonfire weather here in the south and what do we do at a bonfire? Grill ribs, roast s'mores, and drink booze!

Going out with friends/family to restaurants is hard too because I don't like to make a big deal out of the fact that I'm trying to lose weight. But when I politely decline food/drink, I get responses like "you can have just a few bites of desert!" or "you can have one margarita!" NO, NO, NO I can't because a few bites of this and a few drinks of that is what got me into this mess

My biggest hurdle is staying consistent. I know what I need to do, but it is a matter of doing it on a consistent level.

Mine is the same. Its time to focus.

Baking goodies will have to take a reduction in my house this season. I will try to use a splenda baking substitute for some of the necessary cookies and turnovers.

I will focus on my least favorite pies -- and like last year cut some of the excess with the big day Thanksgiving Dinner; making sure everyone takes home with them the leftovers. And insist on getting outdoors for long walks (which is easy enough with six dogs always ready to run!).

wanting to snack late night, being motivated to exercise, planing meals out ahead of time.
  • My biggest hurdle is that I don't think I can actually lose the weight. I have not been below 120 lbs since undergrad (where I ranged from 100-115 lbs). I miss my old body and am tired of being labeled "that cute chubby girl." Even my personal trainer says that it's impossible for me to get back to that weight; very disheartening.

November being my Birthday month presents a challenge because everyone wants to take me out for dinner and drinks. I'm going to have to order healthy at restaurants and god knows, I HATE THAT.
