My face won't stop flushing bright red??

hey. i had the radioactive iodine treatment to kill off my thyroid a couple months ago, because i have graves disease. and now my doctor has started me on replacement thyroid meds. and in the past couple days, my face keeps flushing bright red, and blotching up, and feeling like its on fire. is this a common side effect of my thyroid being very under active, or is it maybe the medication causing it. its worrying me a little. any one else ever get the flushed bright red face with an under active thyroid. ? thanks much.

I get flushing of my cheeks in the afternoon normally. Never had an explanation for it though but its directly related to my hypothyroid.0
