Week 2

I keep repeating it. My neighborhood has a lot of hills and I just feel like I can't do 3 mins non stop yet. Is that bad? Should I force myself to run the 3 mins even when I can barely make it through the 90 second runs right now?

I think next time you should atleast try it. I didnt think I could do it either but I went straight from 2 min runs struggling to 4 min runs no problem. If you cant do it just revert back to week 2 the next day, no biggie
PS: I totally applaud you for running on hills! My neighborhood is so hilly as well so I chicken out and drive to trails and tracks so I don't have to run on the hills lol!0 -
Ok I will give it a try on Friday. I wouldn't really say I'm brave.. just got tired of taking the time to drive to the park which is 15 mins away.. that's 30 mins total I could be sleeping hahaha0

Definitely try it! You dont know you cant until you try. I started week 3 this week and that 3 minute run scared me. It was tougher than the 90 second run (I struggled a bit with it too) but definitely doable. I had to slow down a little bit on my pace.0

Don't repeat a week until you've attempted the next week and find you can't do it. If you can't do it, then keep repeating that week which you were unable to do until you can do it and move on. Don't repeat something you can already do, does that make sense? And whilst you're attempting to do the challenging week remember to keep telling yourself that you CAN do it, positive mental attitude is very powerful I found0
