I am just getting started with Paleo. How do you log you food on Paleo, net calories and setting percentages. Just bought Whole 30 book and have read some blog posts of theirs. Thanks.

    I have been practicing Paleo (more on than off) for over a year. I currently have my settings at 10% carbs, 35% Protein, and 55% fat. I feel best when I stay in that range. Logging food seems to be easier on Paleo since it is just a matter of searching for the real food. Sometimes I guestimate depending on what it is. I know that if I am eating well, chances are I am not overeating on broccoli and chicken.

    Ditto. My macros are at 65% fat, 25% protein, 15% carbs. There's actually a bunch of Paleo recipes entered from the popular cook books too.

    I've got mine set at 45/30/20 Fat/ProteinCarbs, but in all honesty it varies on a daily basis. Macros don't really matter all that much. Just eat real food and aim for 1g protein per pound of body weight and let the other macros fit into place.
