Measuring what matters

Good afternoon everybody! Not saying that what is mentioned here is all that matters, not by a far shot. I am saying that I have begun to measure what matters to me so I can understand my progress. As I mentioned in my daily routine post, I have a target for heart rate, found it here on the 'net. It is between 140 to 145 BPM (Beats Per Minute) for 25 minutes everyday, 6 to 7 days a week. I am also keeping tabs on my Cholesterol and Triglcerides, oh yea, blood pressure and breathing too. I vary my breathing on the bike, short inhales, longer exhales depending on my exertion level at the moment. My weight is moving downward in that when I started biking I was between 235 to 240. I'm now at 209 and have a target of 190 - 195. I was 6' 1 1/2 inches, now, in my advanced age I'm around 6'1". Per the Body Mass Index, I'm of a moderate frame, so the weight goal coinciding is 175 - 180, we'll see!

OK, that's enough for now, please post what matters to all of you, if you would like. I'd appreciate the synergy that we all might generate from all of this ... more on that later ... talk about measuring what matters ...
