Low carb diet help

Options
I have been counting calories for 50 days now and have not lost a single pound so I have decided to do low carb. I have done it in the past but I'm not sure if I achieved keyosis or not. How many carbs should I eat a day in order to do this? Also, should I deduct fiber grams from carbs and count net only or do I just count straight ones? Also, and tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)

Go to goals and Customize your Macro Percentages to no more than 5% carbs and 55-60% fats. It will help you track your protein and fat intake as well as tracking the Carbs. You want to definitely stay below 50g and even better below 30g

You want to remember it is Net Carbs (total carbs - fiber).

As for Ketosis pick up some keto strips/sticks from your local pharmacy/drug store that will tell you whether or not in Ketosis.

The first 2 weeks are the most strict on carbs. [no more than 30g] Try to avoid the sugar alcohols (-ols, i.e. xylitol, Erythritol
Glycerol (also known as glycerin or glycerine), isomalt, lactitol, maltitol, sorbitol) as those can delay ketosis. Stick to liquid stevia as some of the powder forms have added ingredients.

    Drink plenty of water.

Keep your activity light to moderate at least within the first 2 weeks. Then after 2-3 weeks you can increase your activity.

Hope that helps and wasn't too confusing.
