Just found out my TSH is at 9. Waiting for the results of my Thyro anti-bodies test and for the Dr. office to call me and tell me what my new med dose is! Hoping it helps me to feel better.

    Hi

    You don't want my GP Practice then, when I rang for my test results the receptionist said 'your're within range, no further action and no need to see the Doctor'. A fight ensued when I had to push for the actual number and it was 9.8! That was on 175mg a day,

    Please make sure your doctor tests free T3 and free T4 and bases your dose on that!! Not on your TSH, as it's not a thyroid hormone and isn't very useful once you are already taking thyroid meds.
