Best toasted pecans

I am Southern, and everyone I know just loves toasted pecans. Especially now, when they are fresh. This is the easiest recipe ever, and everyone I serve these too just has a fit over them!!! Enjoy!!
1/2 cup butter (I used ghee, and I only use about 1/4 cup) Depends on how much butter you like
1 quart pecan halves
Melt butter in heavy skillet. Add pecans and cook until warm and well coated. Even with less butter, I keep stirring, and they all get coated fine. Then spread them out on a large baking sheet and toast 10 to 15 min in 300 or 325 degree oven. After getting out, I salt them while on the sheet, then put them on a large plate with paper towels underneath. Mix them a little and salt again. That is it! Taked very little time and hardly no effort! They make a perfect appetizer and I plan on taking them to some Thanksgiving and Christmas things so I know I can munch on them!! Trust me, they are always a hit!:)

Yum, tastes better with butter but this works with coconut oil if you are strictly paleo.0
