Can anyone recommend a program similar to JMBR for women?
I finished the program a few months ago, and the 30 minutes fit my schedule perfectly. Interested in a program that focuses on overall toning not body building. The circuit training works well for me.
Newbie to workout programs so ANY recommendations would be appreciated!

I've seen, but never done, something called PX90 or something else called Insanity mentioned in the same breath as Body Revolution. Having no experience of them, however, I couldn't speak as to their...veracity. They sound brutal though! lol0

I would say any of Jilian's other DVDs would work since you're familiar with the moves.
Beach Body has a whole bunch of programs. My friends have done Turbo Fire which they say is great.
I personally love Zumba and have that system at home - I will probably start that when I'm done with JMBR in couple weeks.0 -
Why don't you just do it again? Are you sick of it? I'm on weeks 9 and 10. I try really hard to do everything including the advanced moves but I know I could do it again and still do it harder, stronger and better than this time. The JMBR program is quite pricey so it might be good to do it again.
Most programs seem to work on strength (P90X) or cardio (Insanity) and that's why I've loved JMBR so much - a nice balance.
I will be starting Chalean Extreme when I finish this with random cardio programs/classes on other days. Chalean is more weight training but they say it really helps with tightening your body.
Good luck with whatever you decide.0 -
I think you're going to have a hard time finding anything else that's 30 minutes and has as much variety as Jillian.
I recently started P90X. It can be done as either a bulk or toning program depending on the weights and reps you choose, but it's a longer program. Most days are 75-90 minutes.0 -
Pwrpuff83 - from my understanding P90X and Insanity are more intense, its like doing Week 9 & 10 during the entire 90 days and they are longer than 30 min.
sweetd_cali – I’ve tried JM’s other DVD’s but I didn’t get the same results as BR. Does Beach Body have a website to see what programs are available? Can you also tell me more about the Zumba program...I haven’t heard anything on it?
heidi55125 – “Nice Balance” – that is EXACTLY why I like the JMBR program!! I’ve seen people mention Chalean Extreme, but not familiar with it, can you tell more about the program?
skylark94 – heard a lot of good feedback but just can’t fit that time into my schedule. Your right about finding another program :-/
JMBR is a great workout so I restarted the program last week without the meal plan. But I can’t see myself going thru the program for a 3rd time, lol. And since I’ve had such a hard time finding another program I thought I would start now and by the end of the 90 days I might find something.
Also…thought there might be other people out there who would be interested in continuing with another program...
Thanks for all your feed back ladies!0 -
Glusa, yes Beach Body programs are at http://www.beachbody.com/category/fitness_programs/best_sellers.do. I don't think I'm crazy enough to do P90x, but others look less intense.
As for Zumba, I bought my program off QVC, just search Zumba on that site. Some systems have "easy pay" where you can do 4 installments. Or you can go to zumba.com to find more DVDs or a live class in your area.0
