Hi there! While I'm not new to weight loss or my fitness pal, I am pretty new to the Keto diet. I'd love to add a few more high fat buddies to my friends list. Only active members please! If I see a "so and so has not logged in for 2 weeks," I delete.

Also, a little on why I'm loving this diet: HUNGER! I'm NEVER hungry! Breakfast is either just tea and heavy whipping cream, or tea and a few sausage links. I eat at about 7am. That seriously lasts me until 2 in the afternoon or 12:30 if I walk. I've done a moderate card, high protein and low fat diet for two years now and I was always hungry cause me to binge on a regular basis consuming 1000-1500 calories in carbs in one sitting. My carbs have been between 70-40 grams for two weeks now and I'm now understanding that MORE butter means you'll consume half the carbs.0

I'm almost always hungry and have head aches. I'm not allowing that to deter me. On the bright side, I have noticed I typically get fuller faster.0

I'm active. Keto and MFP January to May. Fell off the keto train and refound it and mfp mid october and forgot how much I'd missed it.
If you feel lousy for more than a short period you may be deficient in something. Often sodium, potassium and magnesium. I've found I was actually low on iodine. While having had no 'keto flu' effects for round 2, round one was semi brutal. Paramedic student on the road 48 hours a week, in class 20 and fluing badly. I was likely iodine deficient then too. I was supplementing potassium and magnesium and adding salt to food.0
