I am looking for a salmon recipe I can make on my GF grill. I currently have frozen salmon fillets, bbq sauce, sweet & sour sauce, maple syrup, garlic, butter, basalmic vinegar, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, creole seasoning, blackening seasoning, taco seasoning, black pepper...any suggestions with what I got in the house??

I don't have a GF grill, but I make salmon pieces baked in the oven with balsamic vinegar. I LOVE that stuff :) I also bake the salmon in the oven with herbs and lemon, with butter dotted over the top.

    I love salmon!!

I put it in the oven with a little olive oil and greek seasoning! The blackening season would be good also with olive oil!

EDIT: I know this is a month-old thread, and I missed the part about using what you had in the house, sorry! Anyway, here's something to try in the future. :) Salmon recipes are always fun.

Take a ziploc bag and toss in 2 teaspoons of low sodium soy sauce, a 1/2 tablespoon of honey, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, and a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil. Put a couple of salmon filets in the bag and marinate it for 10 mins or so, turning it over a few times.

Spray your GF grill with some cooking spray, pop the salmon on for 5-6 mins per side until they flake.

While that is cooking, peel and cut a mango into small cubes, a kiwi into small pieces, a little bunch of fresh cilantro and chop it up, and 1/4 cup of orange juice. Mix it all in a bowl.

When the fish is done, plate it and top it with the mango salsa. Easy, healthy, and delicious.

P.S. My recipe is for two huge filets (8oz each), so adjust the nutritional info accordingly. Enjoy!
