This is something I struggle with...

I've been on board with my new lifestyle/eating since Aug 20th. I can't say its been difficult in the respect that I still get to have all my food favorites. I don't feel deprived of anything (I still have dessert almost every day!), I still go out to eat with my friends, etc.
My problem is, after being overweight for nearly 19 years, and eating 2-3 times the normal portion size, I *never* feel satisfied after a meal. I do stick to the proper portion sizes at home, but every time I finish eating, I think, "Ok, what's next?" Its been almost 3 months now, and I was hoping that by now, I'd be over that.
For those who experienced this- how long did it take you to get used to proper portion sizes? I realize everyone is different, but at this point, I think I need to hear a 'light at the end of the tunnel' story.

I'm in the same place as you! sometimes I tell myself that it is my MIND that is hungry, but that doesn't go away. I would like to know if it ever does go away, or if this is the mental thing we will always struggle with.

    btw......you are doing great!

The more veggies you throw into a meal the less you'll have this problem.
So, if you bump up the size of your meal with veggies, while eating fewer calories because of the veggies... not only will you lose weight and feel satisfied physically, you'll feel satisfied mentally because the portion size will look closer to what you're used to.

At least... that's how it is for me. I hope it helps you :)
