Week 3 Day 16

I'm so glad I decided to add a cardio-based workout after shred. I know good stuff is happening with shred (my arm muscles prove it), but I just wasn't feeling it. And part of me just felt like I wasn't really working for it at 25 minutes a day. But now i definitely feel it. My second workout pushes me just hard enough to get my body to say, "Remember when this video used to make you want to die? Well it's almost too easy now. You know why? Because you almost died 35 minutes ago during your other workout that crazy trainer lady worked you so hard. Your welcome."
So, yeah. Even if I don't "see" progress at the end of this, I know I'm definitely more fit than I was 16 days ago.

Cool! I am still on level 2 but gonna go to level 3 soon. I feel like I kind of plateaud in terms of how I am looking/feeling physically but that may be because i felt like I was getting sick and took an extra break day last week. So I am going to keep going and then see how I feel. But thanks for the idea of adding additional cardio after the shred- I was wondering if I was gonna need something more as well. Also, tho, just cause I am doing the shred doesn't mean I can go easy on the calories! the main issues for me are fat intake and keeping calories down on town days... seems like just about everything available in town is full of fat (such as coconut curry) or is fried... even worse! =P so that is my latest focus- how to not go over cals when I eat out.0
