Joined this group a few weeks ago in anticipation of this moment. I hit goal this morning (yea me), so though I would introduce myself.
I have become an exercise junkie, so have no intention of easing back on the exercise, so going to have to find my level with food. I am not the cleanest of eaters, and not fond of cooking from scratch.
Any pitfalls I should avoid now I am maintaining?
Cheers

congratulations!!!!
i gained a few pounds back thinking "oh, one night off won't kill me..." which was followed quickly by LOTS of "oh, one night off won't kill me". i seem to do better with restrictions...this was a slippery slope for me. i'm still working on this and, after the holidays, i think will have to set some NEVER boundries for myself, just because i realize now that i need them. maintenance has been hard work...harder than losing weight. i've learned so much about myself. i'm also an exercise junkie!! it's the food that is HARD HARD HARD for me.0 -
Hiya!, your my friend already so hi again!
Congrats on hitting maintenance. I find it harder than being on my weight loss journey as it's very easy to slip into old habits, but with motivation from your friends and dedication on staying on track you will be just fine!0 -
105 pounds!!!!! HUGE CONGRATS!!!!!
My advice is..............if you don't HATE logging your food - keep it up. I also weigh myself almost every day of the week -- if for some reason I see a certain number for more than 2 days in a row I cut back a bit until I see my "normal" number...0 -
I am also a fitness junkie, most weeks. I still log my food almost daily to ensure I eat enough to keep up on my workouts and to not loose more weight. I am trying to tone up more, but I am not willing to give up my Zumba classes. Finding the balance with nutrition is key. While you are adjusting, I would a pretty close eye on your weight and measurements. If you find you are dropping or gaining weight, you know you have to make a few changes. I will try and only make one or two changes a week. That way I knowhow they effect me. f you change a lot at once, there's no way to tell what is causing the effects.0
