Clean Eating at Restaurants

Hey everyone!

I'm new to the Clean Eating world- day 3, actually- and I was wondering what words of advice/tips/tricks you may have for when you go out to eat. My family is big on birthday celebrations, and more often than not, it's easier just for everyone to meet up at a restaurant for dinner together. I'm usually very careful about what I order in a restaurant anyway, but I'm wondering if there's anything anyone can share with me in regards to ordering as clean as possible when dining out.
