I'm Cold!!!

I have read here on MFP and have heard from others that after they lost weight, they were cold all the time. I guess the body has trouble adjusting to the loss of insulation or something.
My question is, does this start before you get thin? I have lost 48 pounds, and in the past, cold hasn't really bothered me. But the past month, if the temp is below 50, I am FREEZING!! Has anyone else who is still heavy experienced this? Or am I going crazy?

I haven't experienced it yet but I sure as heck am looking forward to it- my dh is skinny and cold all the time me I am burning up - makes for fights over the thermostat and fans ugh!!0
