My W5 D3

I wasn’t really sure about it; an entire 20 minutes without stopping? My schedule didn’t allow me to do W5 D3 last Thursday as I was chaperoning an out of town high school field trip. I had planned on running on the trip, really. I brought my shoes and HRM, I was set. But there just wasn’t any time. So I repeated W5 D2 this past Sunday just to make sure the first one wasn’t a fluke. I skipped running on Monday evening as I was taking my colonoscopy prep medicine that night (feel free to throw in any “running” jokes you want). So tonight was the night. Twenty minutes? Six weeks ago one minute seemed like forever. I picked my route with the terrain in mind. Slightly uphill the first 15 minutes (79 feet total elevation change) then backtrack the route. It was over before I knew it. I had run for 20 minutes. Well I had jogged for 20 minutes. Ok, I had waddled intently for 20 minutes. Fine, I waddled for 20 minutes but I was out there. Not a blistering pace to be sure but quicker and different from my fast walking pace.
To top it off, I liked it. Bring on Week Six.

LOL!!! Thanks! I just finished W5D2 today, and Friday is looming over me like the worst midterm I ever had... and that's saying a lot. I've been away from midterms for 13 years now! ;-)
Now I'm encouraged that I can make it on Friday. Even if I waddle, it will be faster than walking! :glasses:0 -
congrats to you!
i can't wait to get to W5D3 even though it "looks" a bit scary... but I still have 2 weeks to get there, hope I'll finish just like you did0 -
Great Job pushing through the challenge!0
