Coconut Creme

So in the past I know I have come accross recipies that call for coconut creme...I have just by passed them because we don't have it readily available here and I wasn't going to attempt to make my own.

Well Lo and Behold I was at Trader Joes the other day and they had cans of Coconut Creme - so I grabbed a few.

Anyone have a good recipie that uses Coconut creme - would love a more deserty one that I can make to bring to various holiday things I have coming up...

    Juli at PaleOMG seems to use it a lot.

    I think you can use it in recipes that call for heavy cream. I think(now I'm not positive) that it's the same thing as chilling a can of regular coconut milk and scooping out the thick part at the top. I believe that's the creme. I have used that to make a paleo whipped cream. Yummy.

    Search Chocolate Mouse frosting on pinterest. It was delicious. I made it the other day and my BF even liked it. Great for that "I want something bad" moment.

    You can use for creamy soups too. I use it my coffee every morning. : )
