Someone else made a post about me posting. This thread is allowed to continue and mine is not. Mine didn't even include names. This is lopsided and I would like it removed before it gets ugly with my name attached at the tiptop.
I also never claimed that this group wanted to ban me. My ban was for my profile picture of my boobs and o never said it had anything to do with y'all.0 -

All of what Yoovie said was true. Everything was topics discussed. But I think like Janie said you pretty much have to take what people say with a grain of salt. No one person is "right"...Even though I'm over 30, don't have perfect body or face, and still single doesn't mean I'm less of woman. It just means I made the decision to not settle down. And I'm good with that decison. I didn't want to spend my 20's dating to find that partner, I wanted to spend it discovering myself.0

I have missed much of what has transpired in the last month because it's the busiest time of the year for me work-wise. While I have seen hints of some of the things mentioned before, I have not participated much in threads on these topics, and I'm not a friend of Yoovie's, so I'm writing this with an outsider's view:
It is totally perplexing to me why the other thread is locked if the discussion is allowed to continue here. Carl - you said you were going to lock the other one "for now", yet this thread was started and allowed a free hand.
That does have the appearance of unfairness to Yoovie.
If the discussion is good to resume, why don't you unlock the other thread? It's obvious that she put a lot of time into writing her OP on all the November topics. It seems that people here are wanting mature debate and to reply to Yoovie's OP. Having only come in and out of SP briefly in the last month, I liked seeing a summary, even if it was showing a negative trend among the group.
I think this is the second time I've this quick action locking of a thread "for now" and for it never to be opened again, and both times I didn't see why. Perhaps both threads would have degenerated into fighting, but I thought this group was aiming for moderation with a light hand, not by precognition.
I want to say that I think moderating the group is a tough job and I am not trying to be critical, as I do appreciate the efforts made and I know it probably feels like a thankless job (Thank you, Carl! ). However, I just feel like this is one of those times when too heavy a hand was used and locking the thread was premature. Opening it should be reconsidered for the sake of fairness and to put the discussion of how this group has been trending back where it was started.
I just felt the need to say that before I disappear off to work for the day.0 -
