Week 4 - Day 3...

Totally kicked my *kitten*. I don't know what happened. It could be that I ran it on a treadmill in the gym. I hate running on those things, I always feel like I'm going to fall off. This is the first time I've ran on a treadmill in a long time, and I haven't run any C25K on one yet. It was super hot and I was breathing in that gross, stagnant gym air. I could have also been dehydrated. Salty sushi last night plus a couple of lychee martinis might not have helped. Plus my stomach started puffing up like a balloon as soon as I started running. It was just not a good time. End result was I ran the first 3 run intervals, but just didn't have the gas to run the last 5 minutes. I did finish walking it out and put an extra 15 minutes walking on top of that.

So regardless of what happened to make my run so crummy, should I keep pressing on and go for week 5 for my next day, or would it be smarter to repeat this day again? I did well the first 2 runs of this week, I just had a bad day I guess. Or should I just play it by ear and see how I feel?
