Twenty pounds lost!

I still have a long way to go (between 65-85 pounds depending on how ambitious I'm feeling), but I am so excited! I really have EM2WL to thank for this. When I first started (little over two months ago), my first instinct was to eat around 1,500 calories a day. The thought of eating even at my BMR was CRAZY to me and I did not trust the process.
I did eventually (I think within 2-3 weeks) start allowing myself to really eat and to hit my BMR or higher. I was sure I would start gaining, but I didn't!
I am totally the person who felt like they were not physically capable of losing weight. Not true. My goal is 2,200 calories a day and I am not fussy about where those calories come from as long as they fit (so fast food happens). I've lost an average of 2 pounds a week. I hit a plateau in the past few weeks and decided to UP my calories instead of lowering them and sure enough, this week I started losing again. And now, like I said, I'm twenty pounds down.
Just a little encouragement to those who may be struggling or skeptical! Obviously not every body is the same, but I really do think there is something to this! Trust the process and don't give up!
