I need help friends-- I REALLY want to be as lean/shredded as I can be for a photo shoot on the 2nd of next month (it's a boudoir shoot for hubby's Christmas gift). I'm 5ft 2in and weigh between 111.6 and 112.6 on a normal day. I've been eating at 2100 calories for while now and maintaining. This is around what scooby says for me to eat to gain muscle/lose body fat. Should I do a cut for the next couple of weeks? Or should I just keep eating as before (perhaps with less carbs/sugar) and step up my weighted workouts? I def feel flubby around the midsection but I know this is from running more/eating more carby sugary crap. I've cut back on that...in fact I blew my knee out AGAIN Sunday morning so I'm done with running for at least a couple of weeks. I work out with a trainer 2 times a week with weights and ride my bike or do some other form of cardio the other 3 days a week that I workout. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks guys!

Ease up on the salt, drink plenty of water, get rest and just keep going. I dont think there would be much you could "lose" in less than a few weeks to help you look leaner.. bloat is a major factor, so stay away from bloating foods and activities and hopefully that will take the flubby feeling away from you0

As lifting causes water retention it might be worth avoiding lifting in the 3 or 4 days prior to the shoot to give your body time to shed any lifting bloat.0
