Hey everyone - let's start this group off with some recipes that won't get us backwards on our weight loss goals!! Here's one:
Sweet and Sour Cabbage
2 cups red cabbage, rough chopped (or large shreds)
1/4-1/3 cup apple cider vinegar (depends on amount of sauce you want)
1 teaspoon cinnamon, to taste
1/4 teaspoon stevia, less to taste (stevia is much sweeter than sugar)
1/4-1/2 teaspoon dry mustard, to taste
1/2-1 teaspoon garlic powder, to taste
sea salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
Directions:
1 - In a large skillet over medium heat, add cabbage and stir for 1 minute.
2 - Add all remaining ingredients and cover.
3 - Stir periodically cooking about 6-8 minutes until crisp-tender.
Great as a side dish!

Thank you for the cabage recipe, noticed one on a message board for tuna and iceburg lettuce, lots of protein and it sounds great!
I hope to contribute with an invitation to our group, A Spirit of Fitness which is just getting off the ground. Body Shapes intrigues me from an InForm - ed perspective. Hope you drop in, and Great Health to You!0
