I have biceps now & my legs are getting tighter by the day, but my stomach is lagging (which is normal). My sister, mom, & many others think I'm delusional & say that I'm being overdramatic. I said, 'I wish my stomach was as toned as my arms' & my sister gave me an attitude. It really ruined my mood.
My stomach sticks out & makes me look like I'm slouching, even when I have my chest up, pelvis tucked. It's getting smaller, evidenced by my measurements so I'm happy, but it needs to flatten already. I want to be happy with how I look & I want to prove to others that there IS a difference & to not just settle for second best.
I'm just frustrated & needed someone to talk to. Hope you guys are all doing well with your journeys.

It does get a little depressing sometimes. Just remember how far you have come so far, and that the rest will fall in line. Keep at it. And, never let anyone ruin your mood!!0

If you tend to accumulate fat in that area, that's one of the last places you'll burn the remaining fat from. And you know, when there is fat it's hard to see the muscles.
Instead of judging by the mirror, suck in the belly and make the abs as hard as possible while standing, and try to feel the muscles with your fingers. how much of the fat can you pinch with your index and thumb finger? If you've been strength training, you'll realise that a lot of the bulge you see in the mirror is actually hidden muscle! it's just a matter of time until your body decides that fat isn't needed anymore.
remember that having a six pack is one of the hardest things to achieve in fitness! even naturally-slim people have trouble with that.
a lot of people need to resort to surgery to correct that and get rid of any cellulitis in the area and that stubborn fat for good.
Just keep working at it and don't let others bring you down0 -
Hope your feeling better today. Family, we love them but UGH sometimes! I wasn't too happy yesterday either when I saw my stomach meeting my boobs while sitting in the family photos!0
