Whew, made it through. Only one more workout to go. W9D1 is to run 3.1 miles straight then I am done with the training program. 12/9 I will run an "official" 5K race. Been tough though. Really would like my time to get better. Can never get better than around 10 minute mile.

A 10 min mile is a good pace... especially after C25k. What I've been told is the speed comes with time. I'm starting week 7 today. Last week I was able to hold a 12 min mile pace during my run. I'm good with that. At this point a 10 min mile is my goal. Yes, faster would be better, but that will come with time and strength.

I'm on W7D1 next too and can anticipate finishing the program without ever achieving the full 5k as I keep a steady 5mph on treadmill. I think I will wait until I have done W9D3 and then either increase the distance or try and speed up.0
