Shake mistake !!!!!!!

OK, I thought that making hot chocolate out of the shake would be a GOOD idea, it is NOT!!
Started out well, added cinnamon stick, nutmeg, cloves and waited in anticipation. As the enticing mixture warmed in the pan, it started getting thick, so I added more water. I thought no problem. As it kept heating, it got thicker and thicker until it was like pudding. Again, I though no problem, I would have a delicious treat.
As I took the first spoonful to my mouth, I smelled the spices and thought OK, then it landed on my tongue and it was a mealy, unflavored goo.
The moral of this story is that I would not recommend trying to make the shakes hot !
