My new gym doesn't have a box or swiss balls... Any recommendations?

I just joined, too... Grr. Maybe I'll cancel and find another gym instead :)

    You can buy a swiss ball and use it at your house. They are inexpensive enough.

    For the box, I'm still in stage 1 so I don't know if you need it for anything else....but you can do step ups on a bench.

    If you cancel, would you be out the signing fee and other various things they charge when you get the membership?

    My gym doesn't have a box -- they have steps that are adjustable. You add risers to make them higher or lower. Look and see if there are steps around.

    You may want to ask your gym if they have a ball -- maybe they don't keep them in the main gym. At my gym, there is always one or two in the gym somewhere, but they have a bunch stored in the closet where they keep the class equipment.
