Hey!

I started C25K last Wednesday. I haven't gotten in my Week 1 Workout 3 yet this week. Might not get it in this evening (my son has a concert tonight, and I'll be out until 9pm). The first day was rough, and I only got through 15 minutes - heart palpitations and dizziness.. Then on Saturday, I made it through the entire workout, and was dizzy and felt messed up while running, but I pushed through it.

I'd love to be able to run outside in the spring!! (I'm doing the treadmill C25K)

HI!!!

Hi! I'm new to this group as well and began W1D1 on Monday and just completed W1D2. I don't feel too bad during the workout, but find my muscles feeling really weak afterward. Also suffer from Hypothyroid, so my muscles have weakened quite a bit in the process, and I'm trying to get them back.

Tonight was much colder and windy outside, so this run was a little more difficult for me breathing wise.

Is there a different version of the program for treadmills, or are you just ramping the speed of your treadmill during the run sections? I have a treadmill and I may choose to run on the treadmill on really windy days.

I'm running the program from an App on the iPhone.

    I follow this program:

It breaks it down by the minute

Welcome and good that you're doing this! I started a couple of weeks back and am about to finish Week 3.
Keep up the good work. Remember to slow down the pace if you feel a bit tired. And remember also that you can do this.

Hi, fellow newbies! I hope you're all still doing well. I just started this weekend. Managed to do D1 & D2, but my plan for D3 was derailed by intensely cold winds. Hoping to get back at it on Wednesday when it warms up a little.

I'm ready to start W2D1.. but my heart is giving me issues, so I'm not going to push it until I know what's going on with me.

I'm on the treadmill, so I don't have to worry about the temperature. Good luck on Wednesday!!

Hi and welcome! You'll love the program. It goes by quickly!

I'm on week 6 day2 and love the longer runs!
  • I just started on Saturday myself... I've just finished day 2, and man was it cold out there tonight! My lungs are on fire. I'm not having a hard time with muscles or getting tired. I just realllly need to get control of my breathing somehow. Any tips?
