That time of the month

Does anyone have trouble sticking to their diet during their time of the month? What are things you do to help? What are your weak points?

I always crave chocolate! Have a few bags of it in my room. And salt- which makes me get fries on lunch. Nothing too damaging as I never overdo the portions but doing this every day for a week will have it's setback.

    Sorry, I'm no help. I tend to go a little overboard on the strangest things during that time of the month, like rice?? who eats too much rice LOL, and chocolate almond butter. My cravings usually only last a couple days though. I make sure to drink extra water and to make sure I get my exercise in no matter what--even if it's just a walk.

    Today I might have over done the salt. Time to double up on water! At least that helps with bloat. As a note: Banana's help with cramps! But eating them before sleep will cause weird dreams. Thank/blame potassium!
  • I always crave meat! It's so strange because I hardly eat meat apart from then!

    I heard that what you crave is dependant on your blood type but I don't know how true that is...

    Meat craving might be due to the iron you're losing. Are you anemic? Maybe try and daily multivitamin with iron. Of course ask a health professional first haha
    and all of this is irrelevant if you don't mind those cravings lol (:
