Cysts

I had a quick question for you guys. I have Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome as well as Endo, and will get rather large chocolate cysts. Recently though, I've been getting them on my Fallopian tubes instead of my ovaries. Has this happened to any of you before? Is it common?

    Hey

I was diagnosed with PCOS when i was about 20 but I think it was a misdiagnosis and they were just diagnosing it as they hadn't yet explored the possibility that it was endo.

My understanding is that chocolate cysts (endometriomas) are caused by endometriosis, not PCOS.

The types and location of cysts are different in each disease and it is common for endometriomas (chocolate cysts) to form outside the womb/ovaries whereas PCOS cysts remain on the ovary and usually burst on their own quite harmlessly.

No. Doctors say theres not much more they can do for me. Ive already had surgery to remove various cysts and "endo clumps", but it just comes back again after surg.

Sending you some hugs! I had surgery late last year to remove a ruptured one. It was not fun.
The only thing that has helped me is taking birth control pills.
I hope your weight loss journey goes well
