I still weigh daily - I'm trying to get into doing it every other day, and hopefully I'll get down to just the one day a week. But, it does keep me in tune to my body and I have come to learn how certain foods/nutrients etc. affect me (I can be quite sensitive to excess sodium (>3500).

Anyway, this morning I got on my scale and when I looked at the number at first I thought I had increased since Friday (yay for not weighing all week-end!) but wasn't really surprised given I didn't make the healthiest choices and we had my sons birthday party with snacks and cake. Then it clicked - it wasn't up, it was down, in fact, it was down to a number I haven't seen for almost 5 years!

I am beyond ecstatic that A) I have energy that outlasts my day B) I am never hungry or left feeling deprived C) I am getting stronger and leaner every day.

Thank you for all of the pinned topics that I read, and reread. It has all been laid out so wonderfully that it makes sense, and no longer seems too good to be true that I can eat great, full balanced meals, enjoy my favourite foods, and still continue to lose.
