I have a bunch but these are my biggest
(for weight loss)
1) if i can do it you can do it!!!
everybody is different and nobody has the same journey!!! this annoys me to no end LOL
(not weight loss)
2) God helps those who help themselves
UM HELLO lol lol this one makes me cringe and grit my teeth.. GOD helps those who are broke and down and KNOW they cant do it alone!! God helps those who know they cant make it without him. Those who give up and give it to HIM bc they know they are nothing w/o him!! I hear this 24/7 and i just want to scream NO ITS NOT TRUE! lol lol lol

Sorry if i offended anybody by talking abt God! (OR AM I? HEHEHE)

    I really don't understand No.2.

My biggest annoying saying in regards to weight loss is: "you can't eat this or that..." I believe everything in moderation is allowed.

There's more that annoy me but I don't remember because I guess I tune them out. I focus more on seeking those sayings I enjoy and feel a "resonance" with.

I've heard people say it before but the way I interpret it is that things don't always happen on their own. You can't just stay there on your knees praying something will happen. Sometimes you have to initiate the "rolling ball"...and from there God guides it in the best way...under grace in a perfect way. Then you notices thing start "happening" all of a sudden that are in tune with what you wanted. That's God's hand. :)

I believe a person has to fine tune their mind, hearts and feelings to God or whatever other force/power you believe in for things to happen. I think that is what that phrase is referring to but some people use the phrase in a wrong way. I believe in miracles and I believe God helps you but you must "tune in" and that's what's meant by "help yourself" in my view. I think it means a person has no faith in the existence of his power. It depends how you view and interpret things. I guess.

I'm very metaphysical. I love all the knowledge I've gained from Florence Scovel Shin, Louise Hay, Conny Mendez....etc. They all believe in that same source which is God. Faith is a practice not just words. It must be practiced to be understood and I'm not talking about the kind of practice where you sit and pray and hope ...nu uh...in your daily living you practice that faith.

Yes! exactly. I've learned that sometimes those things that bother us and we can't control from others can sometimes be made less bothersome by simply changiing the way we think about them. Then all of a sudden those things have no more power over us and we are not as affected by them. The mind is a powerful thing and really the view is in the eye of the beholder. There is no right or wrong, there is just a different way of looking of things or a different kind of movie we play for ourselves.
