Online meetings - Where?

I just recently joined this group... I can't go to a face-to-face meeting at the moment because the closest is an hour away from me.

I'd like to try out a few online ones.... but on the OA official site, I couldn't get the locator thing to work when I was trying to find an online meeting.

I googled it, and went to one site... but I am supposed to allow some chat thing and wasn't sure if I trusted it on my computer or not, the pop up said some warnings.

Does anyone else do online ones? What sites do you use? Google comes up way too many results. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are a couple of closed groups on Facebook with OA members as well. Just look up compulsive overeating you will see them. There is a lot of great support there. I also like to listen to recorded speakers at www.oalaig.org Lots of members with long term recovery there.

I don't do the online meetings as they move too slowly and I loose interest. I sometimes do phone and skype meetings. They are listed at oa.org

This is the one I have been using. It is fairly simple to get into and I haven't had any problems with running it on my computer.

Wow! There are online meetings?! I just recently learned about OA from a co-worker. I'm really like this idea of online meetings. I'll have to check it out!
