Anyone combine CLX with more heavy lifting?

I'm going to restart CLX soon, but I'm wondering if it's still okay for me to do heavy lifting at the gym (ex. 3x5 barbell squats, etc.). I'm worried that I'm not going to give my muscles time to repair and rebuild if I do this. But at the same time, a different kind of heavy lifting a couple of times a week (or even just one good full body session) might shock my body into better results.

What do you guys think?

    Hopefully someone else will chime in but I'm currently doing Les Mills Pump (finished CLX a month ago) and I have been adding CLX Push phase every other day since the main Les Mills Pump are every other day. So far so good with me. I see it as different since the burn phase you aren't encouraged to life heavy. Push phase is where you want to go as heavy as possible and the lean you want to keep the heavier weight.

    I see what you're saying. I want to confuse my muscles a little bit, but not totally bewilder them! :) The truth is, I just love the feeling of heavy lifting and I hate giving it up while doing CLX. My cardio during the week (at least starting in January) will be kickboxing, elliptical, and swimming, so I'm hoping that movements will fit well together.
