I use the scooby workshop calculator to determine my TDEE, BMR, -20%.

I wanted to make sure I am calculating my activity level correctly for these numbers.
I think it is 5-6 hours of strenuous excercise.

Schedule most weeks
2 nights of week of soccer anywhere from 25-50 minutes
2-3 days a week of heavy lifting which usually includes 10-30 minutes of cardio before hand
1 day of army pt with the local recruiting station
Sometimes I go running just for fun on off days but not often.

I am a teacher but I sit alot.

Thanks for any help.

There are two options. You go very active and if you don't lose drop it to moderately, or set it at moderately and if you feel tired, then bump it to very active. But most teachers arent' sedentary. Or you can split the difference. In the end, it's all estimates.

Agreed. Pick the one that most fits your circumstances and reassess after a few weeks (or sooner if impacting your energy/gym performce)). Tweak up or down depending on your results.

I think what I calculated is perfect. Im eating about 1900 a day regardless of excercise unless my excercise puts my net below BMR then I eat whatever to put me at my BMR. If I am loosing weight it is very slowly, but I am loosing inches and my cloths are getting big, so fantastic. Thanks!
