I just put my numbers in, but I am not sure how to fix it. I bought a new scale that said I only weighed 166 instead of the 169 my old scale said ( 166 is more true it matches with those scales in the dr's office) so When I logged this morning my weight was 163 so it looks like I lost 5 pounds over the week when it was really only 3 so thats what I put in for the weeks loss. I just wanted to let everyone know. I didn't want to put in 5 pounds lost because I am pretty sure that isnt true.

Sorry if this makes no sense lol not sure how to explain it.

I accidently entered 158 instead of 168 and it appeared as though I lost 11.5 pounds!! Only lasted for minute, until I corrected it, but it looked nice!

Since I maintained last week (TOM) I was really pleased to see 1.5 pounds lost this week! My goal is set for .7 pounds a week, so everything is working! Woo hoo!

Thank you! I was pretty excited about the 3 pounds! I am trying to bust my butt this week and last because once our family gets here Saturday there is going to be holiday food galore and I am hoping to keep the weight gain to a minimum lol. I go to the store tomorrow so I going to fill the house with fruit and veggies so that I wont overload on the holiday treats and just only have a few so I don't deprive myself of them.

Hello everyone! I’m new to trying to loose weight, not just thinking about it in the back of my head. This week my weight went up (just a bit), and I was wondering if this is normal and I’m just over reacting. It just gets frustrating when I try to do something everyday even if it is just going for a 30 minute walk. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!

Yes, it is normal to fluxuate depending on bodily functions, sodium intake, water retention due to heavy lifting and TOM. Don't let "just a bit" of an increase in one week discourage you! When I get frustrated I remind myself that I did not gain this extra weight in a month so I cannot lose it all in a month.

Keep at it - you can do this!

I agree, if you have recently started to take on a lot more activity than u used to and even though it may "just" be walking.
Your body also builts muscles and muscles caontain water, especially when you just started to train yourself to drink a certain amount of fluids!
I remember that some time not long ago, I taught myself to drink at least 1500 ml (equals 50 oz) a day.
Since I was not used to it, but my body needed it, it keept a lot in for the first few days or even weeks!
