NROLFW "as is" or heavy?

Hi Ladies,
I just started NROLFW Stage 1 (next 3 WO B). I keep reading about lifting heavy. The workouts in the first Stage range between 15-8 reps per set so not really heavy. While I never deadlifted or squatted on the rack, I did resistance training before (bodyweight and 30DS with heavy weights (6 reps) until they became light and some P90X for few weeks). I wonder if I should just stick with the program or should I go up on weights and do less reps?

Stick with the program. The first phase is all about building your strength. I would not alter it.

Stick with the program. As you drop the number of reps, you should be increasing your weights. If you are not struggling to complete your reps, you need to increase your weights. I'm in Stage 3 right now, and trust me, I'm definitely lifting heavy. You will be too!
