So I know that everyone is different when it comes to weight loss, but I have to say I got the BEST Christmas present today! I had my first post surgery appointment. I had decided when I went in for my surgery NOT to weigh at home during the first two weeks, because I know it really wavers. My secret hope was that I would lose 15 pounds. On my doctor's scale I am down 21!!! Since I use my scale at home more frequently, I weighed there as well and show a 19.6 pound loss. I am so excited!!!!!!
I know it will slow down, and that this is the easiest time, but 20 pounds? It took me 6 months to lose the 30 I needed to lose pre-op. And that was on 1200 calories and exercising. Can you feel my excitement?
