Missing Insanity

Well, I have not done my Insanity workout for almost a week now. I had two problems. First, I tweaked my knee, which I understand is common with Insanity. I continued to workout on it but then had to stop so I didn't injure it further. I am doing a 5K run on New Year's Day and don't want to miss it. I also had a problem with my heart rate on one workout. It spiked up really high and it took a couple of minutes to return to normal. I have one chamber of my heart that is smaller than the rest but is still within normal limits. My heart skips beats sometimes and I am used to it. Normally I have a good recovery rate but this was scary. So I am jogging for a few days and then I'll get back to it in January, but at a reduced intensity. Gotta be safe.
Sigh.
Sigh.

I know what you mean... I haven't done my workouts either since Christmas, because of sickness...
It's really frustrating to not be able to do it, when I started to finally enjoy them...
However, as you said, gotta be safe:)
Get well soon:flowerforyou:0 -
I feel your pain! I have wrecked both my knees somehow, i'm trying not to fully blame Insanity
I've stopped almost all my activities in the last couple days.
Hope your knee feels better soon0 -
Me either! I was away for the holidays but now I'm back! I'm going to start week 5 again tonight. Hope everyone feels better!0
