No Points....

Well, Christmas is here and New Years too. I wish everyone a fabulous season with your families and friends.
I woud like to let you all know that I'm finding it hard to count points. I can't believe I'm saying this! I'm not going to throw away all my tools though. I will save them because who knows if one day I might need it again but in the meatime I'm finding success with what I'm doing now. It is working so well that I see no sense in counting points. I do have a column added to MFP diary to show me total points for the day but I don't always look at it. Perhaps once in a while.
Right now I'm more focused on calories and on how much my calorie deficit is. I'm purposely shooting for a 500-1000 daily calorie deficit. I'm using Fitbit to tell me what my TDEE or in other words how many calories I burn daily and it then substracts the foods I enter on MFP and I get my deficit amount which on MFP I have it set up so that my "remaining calories" field is actually how many calories in deficit I am for the day. When I have a deficit I lose weight at the scale. I love it! and it works because my scale has been moving accordingly so far. No more lying to myself. I know when that scale is going to go up or down. No guessing on my part. So this is why I really haven't been posting a diary here. If anyone is interested in seeing what I eat you can add me as a friend and then you will be able to see my food diary and exercise diary. The remaining calories on my journal is my calorie deficit for the day. Feel free to spy on me lol.
